DATA ACQUISITION AND PLAYBACK SYSTEM (DAPS)

Features & Benefits
DAPS works with both pulse (Legacy RS-422) or message (Newer RS-485) count AN/AAR-47 MWS.
Easy chainable DAPS to allow multiple AN/AAR-47 MWS to be analyzed with only one set of optical sensors.
Each DAPS allows recording of up to 6 pulse and 6 message count AN/AAR-47 sensors simultaneously.
GPS time stamping for accurate synchronization.
MIL-Spec connectors are used to interface with AN/AAR-47 MWS suite.
Operating temperature from -20 to +85 degrees Celsius.
International power supply (120/240VAC, 47-63, 400Hz and +28VDC).
Rugged & hermetic enclosures for autonomous DAPS simulations.

Overview
The Data Acquisition and Playback System (DAPS) is used to record AN/AAR-47 optical sensor signals and threat declaration data from the AN/AAR-47 Missile Warning System (MWS). It performs signal playback of real or synthetic signal data to the AN/AAR-47 MWS-Computer Processor (CP). This system is used as a test bench on the field and in a lab for the development of advanced Missile Warning Systems and better countermeasure deployment scenarios. The system consists of an electronic data acquisition and transmission module controlled by a Windows application running on a host computer.
