Lyrtech provides developers of FPGA-based DSP systems with support for high-level system tools such as SIMULINK. Lyrtech is also closely co-operating with Xilinx and The MathWorks to totally support System Generator for DSP, a new FPGA-based processing tool that allows simulation, synthesis and optimized Virtex core substitution. System Generator makes DSP-FPGA programming easier than ever, all from the very same high-level tool you would use to program your DSP.

Lyrtech has addressed the need for production-quality code generation from SIMULINK and the Real-Time Workshop®. On top of C code quality enhancement tools, Lyrtech has developed a library of commonly used functions, written directly in assembly code. By checking a box in the Real-Time Workshop control panel, the MIPS-consuming C code for your SIMULINK model is replaced by assembly code that would typically increase your system's performance tenfold. Of course, the standard tools you may be using at the moment, Analog Devices' VisualDSP++, JTAG emulators, Xilinx Foundation and others, are all compatible with the system. A standard Application Programming Interface along with a shell are delivered free of charge with every LSP platform. You can seamlessly download DSP, FPGA or µP code to your board.

DSPlink      Integration package linking RTW to the SignalMaster's on-board DSP (support for all platforms). Allows hardware-in-the-loop co-simulation on the DSP from SIMULINK (support for all platforms).

FPGAlink      Allows co-simulation of SIMULINK models on host computer and SignalMaster on-board FPGA (supported only on VIRTEX-based, C6x SignalMaster).
