Overview
The VHS-DAC is ideal for smart antenna applications and MIMO development. With eight channels at 480 MSPS (VHS-DAC Virtex-4) and 85 MSPS (VHS-DAC Virtex-II), a large FPGA for high-speed processing, SDRAM for signal storage/playback, and system-level support through System Generator for DSP from Xilinx, the VHS-DAC offers developers advanced hardware and ease of development.
When the VHS-DAC is combined with other DSP/FPGA platforms such as the SignalMaster or SignalMaster Quad cPCI platforms, it becomes a complete and very-high-performance IF/baseband solution.
The VHS-DAC can also be combined with the VHS-ADC to provide an end-to-end chain of 16 high-speed acquisition/transmission channel processing. Further, the VHS-DAC is equipped with an expansion connector that allows directly adding a DAC module (8 D/A channels).
